We create a Small Popular Science Encyclopedia of Ukrainian Folk Culture as an Ivan Honchar Museum Scientific Blog. The need for such a publication is long overdue because each time dictates its requirements for interpreting and rethinking historical and cultural phenomena. The post-industrial social development stage requests scientists to create new educational projects. They shall be concise by form and stylistically available to a wide range of readers. They should pass strict content fact-checking and be methodologically consistent with the demands of the modern information society. This is how we see the ‘Small Popular Science Encyclopedia of Ukrainian Folk Culture’ in the future, presenting its pilot version.
